Have A New Experience At The Tomato Festival

Summer is full of festivals. Music, beer, food festivals galore seem to help us coast through the dog days of summer. And Cape May is home to some of the best festivals around. But how many times have you celebrated summer by attending a tomato festival? If you answered never, then we’ve got a festival you must attend.

Coming soon is the West Cape May Tomato Festival. Celebrating all things tomato. The West Cape May Tomato Festival showcases everyone’s favorite summer fruit (a.k.a. everyone’s favorite summer fruit to grow). The festival features vendors from all over the region and their delicious tomatoes. Take home some of the most gorgeous tomatoes you have ever seen (and tastiest!). Grab yourself a slice of tomato pie or savor a unique empanada packed with farm grown tomatoes. The festival will have lots of delicious tomato dishes available for you to sample as you make your way through beautiful Wilbraham Park. Are you getting hungry yet?

Of course the festival celebrates more than just tomatoes. You will also find other fresh, seasonal fruit and veggies home grown from the vendors at the festival. You will find local items such as apples and peaches, baked goods, fragrant flowers, and even tomato inspired home decor and t-shirts. With so much offered at the West Cape May Tomato Festival, you do not need to be a tomato-lover to attend this festival.  

Don’t miss this wonderful Cape May community event. The West Cape May Tomato Festival will be held Saturday, September 2nd from 9am-5pm at Wilbraham Park in West Cape May. What a fun way to spend the day celebrating the fruits of summer (literally!) as it begins to draw to a close once again.
