On the first day of 2022, we’re reflecting on years past as we look forward to the months ahead. In 2021 we welcomed families to our resort, raised $3,500 for the Cape May Community Food Closet and COVID-19 Relief Fund, hosted local influencers, and much more. These accomplishments caught the attention of local news outlets. Here’s what they had to say about Montreal Beach Resort in 2021 and 2020.
Homemade delish
“I grew up going to Wildwood Crest as a child, but now as an adult and with kids
I have fallen in love with beautiful Cape May. Last week I had the opportunity to stay in Cape May with my family at the ocean front Montreal Beach Resort. Our room was the perfect fit for our family of 4.” More…

A beachgoer’s guide to the southernmost South Jersey Shore
“Ronda Britt, a 45-year-old survey statistician from Arlington, Va., made her first trip to the town in 2007. “We actually went to visit Atlantic City, but stopped in at Cape May on the way,” she says. “We fell in love with it.”
Every year since, Britt has returned. She has made the Montreal Beach Resort her go-to spot when in town, landing there for its oceanfront balconies, pool, restaurant and on-site liquor store. “It’s centrally located, and I can walk everywhere,” she says. “Cape May is very compact, which makes walking most places very doable.” More…

Day Trip to Cape May, NJ
“The Montreal Beach Resort cabanas are perfectly located, far enough from everyone with their umbrellas and close enough to the water. The cabanas have curtains that are very easy to handle and give you a great sense of privacy. You feel so comfortable that you might end up taking a nap.” More...

Celebrate Summertime at the Montreal Beach Resort in Cape May, NJ
“Sweet vacation memories are filled with sun-drenched beach days, seashell collecting, walking along the water’s edge, sunbathing in oceanside cabanas, salty breezes, crashing waves, and vacationing at a resort that generations have called their Jersey Shore home.
Standing prominently along the Atlantic coastline at Madison Avenue in Cape May, the Montreal Beach Resort, which has been lovingly owned and maintained by three generations of the Hirsch Family, offers getaways that are relaxing, rejuvenating, safe and clean.” More…

A Safe-cation in New Jersey’s Wildwoods
“I was aware that ever-popular Harry’s Restaurant at the Montreal Beach Resort was accommodating our COVID times with a new custom take-out window and even more open-air dining space. They already had the ideal spot.”
“We are really lucky we already have the perfect layout to accommodate during this,” affable Jonathan Hirsch, third-generation MBR management, revealed.
And I knew that there were private cabanas as part of the facility’s Beach Club complete with dedicated Harry’s servers as well.
Harry’s also implemented a new dine-in service to enjoy their delicious menu overlooking the ocean from the balcony of the hotel’s sanitized rooms. If that didn’t scream safe-cation, I don’t know what would.” More…
We received a lot of attention for our COVID safety protocols. We’re so glad guests felt safe and taken care of throughout the pandemic.
