Now that we’re headed into March, it’s officially event season in Cape May. So, while high season won’t hit until the onset of summer, there’s still a lot to do between now and June. What’s coming up? Here’s a list.
Singer Songwriter Cape May (13th Annual) | March 27-28, 2020
At this annual event (in its 13th year) talented musicians from all over the country flock to Cape May to entertain crowds with original music. The goal, of course, is always to be discovered by one of many agents scouting for new talent. What’s in it for you? 150 different performances across town (free of charge) plus two headline acts (for a low admission fee).
Exit Zero Jazz Festival | April 17-19, 2020
The Exit Zero Jazz Festival is returning once again this April with an outstanding program as usual. The lineup includes 3-time Grammy award-winner Sergio Mendes as well as Madeleine Peyroux, both of whom will headline. In addition to these fabulous performers, several other acts will wow audiences. Cape May Spring Celebration | April 24 through May 17, 2020
The Cape May Spring Celebration is one of Cape May’s longest-running events. Enjoy 2 fun-filled weeks of springtime festivities in Cape May. Here is a list of festival happenings. Cape May Music Festival | May 24 through June 12, 2020
This year, The Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) celebrates 31 years of bringing beautiful music to Cape May. Unlike most music festivals which pack performances into just a few days, the Cape May Music Festival unfolds over the course of several weeks. In the end, MAC and Cape May will host 13 different concerts at venues all over town. If you love great music, this is the perfect event for you.
Cape May Restaurant Week | May 31 through June 7, 2020
If you’re a fan of great food (who isn’t?) then Cape May Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at one of several incredible Cape May restaurants – on the cheap! Each June Cape May’s finest restaurants participate in the program, featuring a 3-course price-fixed menu for just $38. Each menu includes a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. A list of participating restaurants will be released soon!
