Making family vacation dreams come true.
Summer is still here. The beaches are gorgeous. It’s also time to think about planning your Montreal Beach Resort fall vacation. We know, it’s the middle of summer, who wants to think about fall? But the truth is we’ve been fully booked all season and we don’t know what to expect in September, October, or November. If you’d like to get away and enjoy a bit of Cape May, we STRONGLY suggest booking a room now. As always, there are plenty of fun seasonal events to attend and sights to see this autumn (more details below).
Harvest Brew Fest | September 18
Join fellow craft brew lovers at this seasonal festival celebrating Southern New Jersey. Enjoy craft beer, delicious food from local vendors, items crafted by local artisans, local music, and much more. This is the ultimate festival to honor all things LOCAL in Cape May. Visit Cape May MAC for details.
The Irish Fall Festival | September 24 – 26 2021
The largest Irish festival on the East Coast is coming to Cape May. Join in the luck of the Irish for music, dancing, delicious food, craft vendors, and more. Festivities include a golf tournament, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1-mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court stage and beer garden, and Catholic Mass. Events conclude with a parade on Surf Avenue from 20th to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues. Public transportation available.
Bikes & Beers 1st Annual Cape May Event | September 25
Our Friends at Cape May Brewing Company are teaming with fan-favorite Bikes & Beers for this 1st Annual Cape May event! Featuring three routes departing from Cape May Brewing Co. and traveling up through idyllic Cape May County, all rides will offer morning fuel stations, markers, rest stops with refreshments, ride marshals, and SAG support. The end of each route lands riders back at the brewery for live music, games, giveaway, and – of course – BEER!! A workout AND a beer – what could be better??
Exit Zero Jazz Festival | October 1 – 3
It’s the Exit Zero Jazz Festival’s 10th anniversary and this fall the lineup is really, really good. Watch international touring artists perform on two outdoor stages at Cape May Ferry Park and Cape May Convention Hall (Beach Stage). Plus, enjoy indoor concerts at Schmidtchen Theater all weekend long. One minute you’re second-lining (that’s when spectators sing and dance along with performers in a parade) to a New Orleans brass band, and the next, snaking through town behind a 22-piece Brazilian drum bloco. The true joy of this Festival is in the discovery.
West Cape May Lima Bean Festival | October 9
At the West Cape May Lima Bean Festival, join attendees and vendors to honor Cape May’s farming heritage. Here, the lima bean takes center stage beginning at 9 am with a vast array of recipes, crafts, and gift items. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the WCM Shade Tree Commission in its endeavor to maintain the beauty of Wilbraham Park.
The fun doesn’t stop with these special events. Additional things to do and sights to see this fall include:
- Live Music at Harry’s
- East Lynn Theater Company and Cape May Stage
- The Cape May Lighthouse
- The Cape May Promenade
- Cape May Wetlands
- The Nature Center of Cape May
